Well the time came on Friday morning for me to finally go and collect my Playstation 3 ! So off i went to the shop, walked up to the counter and gave the assistant my order telling him i’ve come to collect this..

Now after reading of various story’s regarding people getting mugged for their PS3’s i thought i’d do my best to sneak in and out of the shop with little fuss.. But Oh NO ! the idiot decided to get on his walkie talkie which for some reason seemed to be connected up to the shop intercom system.. To which he Shouted ”Can you get me a PLAYSTATION 3 for a Mr ????? !

I stand there thinking what a dumb **** ! Tell the whole town why don’t you ! ! Any way finally it appeared. I coughed up my cash and walked out.

Getting home i unpacked it, it’s quite a heavy thing ! Connected it up to my TV also up to my Wifi and off i went.

The games…

In total i’ve had 3 for it so far.

Formula One - Championship Edition.

Not a bad game. Graphics are awesome, as you would expect it to be for a Next Gen console. But the game play is a little weak. But a PS it not complete with out a F1 game

 

Resistance: Fall of Man.

Well not a game i normally go for. Bit of a racing game person tbh. But i thought i’d give this style of game a go !

Well its a wicked looking game, sadly i’ve not got very far in to it yet. I keep getting killed by the damn aliens.

Looks like a game that will take some time to crack…

MotorStorm.

This Game is Wild. Just a complete riot. Grab a Truck, Bike, Rally car and just Drive. The tracks are a complete free for all with various routes to the finish.. Plenty of crashes and bashing each other off the road Just the sort of game to get rid of any frustration you have

Well overall im well impressed with it.. Looks like its going to be a beast of a console..

Just one game i’m looking forward to the most tho and that’s GT5 or GTHD or whatever they decide to call it, eh Scotty.

Well on Friday March 23rd my long wait for the Playstation 3 will be over !

My Playstation hatrick will be complete. I’ve been lucky to have had all 3 Playstation’s on the day of launch

When i first found out how much this thing was going to cost me (£425) i almost fainted but i just knew i had to get one..

Sadly the Game i was hoping to be released won’t be in all its Hi res glory.. GT5 has been put back until around 2008 (if i’m lucky) But i will be able to download a special one off demo which should keep me busy

I’m also looking forward to see how good it is as a Blu-ray player. The price alone for this is quite a bargain, but i won’t be to eager to buy up a collection of BR films just yet as i need a nice HD Tv to watch them on ! I’ve already had to put the TV speccin’ on hold because of me affording the PS…..
